Plagiarism

This can range from paraphrasing or copying work (either published or unpublished) without a reference, to adopting somebody else’s entire piece of work without proper acknowledgment of its source.

We will also tell you if we believe there are claims or ideas within your work that need clearer acknowledgement of their sources, however the responsibility ultimately lies with you to ensure the work that you submit to your learning institution is free from plagiarism.

Collusion

This is where a student presents work as their own, however it has been either wholly or partly produced with others. This can include having other people write your assessment piece for you (whether or not you pay them), being inappropriately assisted with the production of an assessment task by somebody else, or submitting work that is substantially the same as another student’s work for the same task.

How does it apply with Assignment Checker?
Most importantly, we will never write any portion of your assessment for you. We take this very seriously, and anybody who attempts to solicit us to complete their assessments for them will be referred to their learning institution, along with any communication between you and us.

We provide feedback to you on areas in which you can improve the quality of your assessment piece (for example, if your writing style does not match the criteria for your assessment, or if you are using a referencing method that is not appropriate for the assessment piece). You then need to take this feedback and apply it to your own work.
